Monkfruit (also known as ‘Luo Han Guo’ or Momordica grosvenori ), is a small gourd found in Southeast Asia. It was first used by monks in the 13th century. It contains zero sugar, calories, carbs, sodium and fat and the FDA has classified it as safe.

Monk fruit doesn’t impact blood sugar levels. According to a study in 2009 monk fruit gets it sweetness from antioxidant mogrosides. A 2013 study concluded mogrosides may help reduce oxidative stress, a stress which may lead to disease.

The manual short text would be:

Drop sugar and calories, increase anti-oxidants – switch to monkfruit!
